Pitztal Wild Face
The Pitztal Wild Face is a timed race that is not judged according to the line ridden, as is usually the case at Freeride World Qualifier events. There will be a competition run on the north face of the Mittagskogel, and 100 riders can take part. Start numbers will be allocated at the Riders Meeting after the obligatory course inspection the day before. There are 4 different categories: Ski Men and Women, and Snowboard Men and Women. Since 2013, the Pitztal Wild Face has been organised under the umbrella of the Freeride World Tour as a Freeride World Qualifier competition.

FREERIDE WORLD TOUR
The Pitztal Wild Face is a 2-star qualifier event of the Freeride World Tour, but is an exception due to its unusual format.
COLLECT POINTS
Depending on the category and ranking, the men’s skiers and snowboarders and the women’s skiers and snowboarders can collect points for the Freeride World Qualifier series.
RACE FORMAT
The race is only timed and not, as usual, ranked according to points awarded by judges.
