17 APR // Pitztal Wild Face
The Pitztal Wild Face is a timed race that is not judged by the line ridden, as is usually the case at Freeride World Qualifier events. There will be a competitive run on the north face of the Mittagskogel and 70 riders, plus the 5 winners from last year, can take part. Bib numbers will be handed out at the Riders Meeting the day after the obligatory course inspection. There are four different categories: Ski Men and Women, and Snowboard Men and Women. Since 2013, the Pitztal Wild Face has been held under the umbrella of the Freeride World Tour as a Freeride World Qualifier competition.
