Ski pass info from A – Z

Suspension and disruption of operations, reduced operation
Non-use of the ski pass due to bad weather, avalanche danger, breakdown of facilities, closure of ski runs, unforeseen departure, etc. does not entitle the holder to a refund or extension. Use of the slopes is at your own risk. Operating times are subject to change due to snow conditions.

We would like to point out that the use of the season or annual ticket is subject to compliance with the respective valid and legal requirements, that these requirements may change at any time and that this use may therefore be limited, reduced or not possible at all during certain periods.

Reduced tickets
A photo ID is required to obtain a reduced ticket (children, youth and disabled persons) without exception. There are no further reductions on already reduced tickets.

Ticket system
a) The tickets are issued on a contactless data carrier (no deposit card). The data carriers are reusable and rechargeable. In the spirit of sustainable use, the data carriers can be returned for recycling at the ticket offices or in the letterboxes provided.
b) At the time of purchase, depending on the type of card, the first name, surname, date of birth and a photograph are recorded by means of a digital camera.
c) This data carrier may not be transferred to third parties for their use.
d) Single rides for non-skiers are issued as a voucher with QR code and must be scanned at the specially designated reading stations.
Tickets are checked electronically at all feeder lifts and at facilities in the ski area.

Online purchase
The online order of the customer requires the complete and correct entry of all mandatory fields in the booking window as well as the express acceptance of the GTC by means of the application provided in the booking window. Incorrect information may lead to the withdrawal of the entitlement without replacement and to exclusion from carriage. The customer is obliged to notify any changes to his/her contact details (name, residential address, e-mail address) without delay.

Abuse, exchange and extension
Checks are carried out continuously in the ski area. The ski passes are subject to an access control system with photo control. Photographs of guests are taken at the turnstiles on a case-by-case basis and are compared with the comparison photos by our staff on a random basis. The photos are deleted after the ski pass expires.
The ski passes are personal and non-transferable. Any abuse will result in immediate withdrawal and will be penalised with three times the ski pass price. In the event of abuse, the right is reserved – provided the legal requirements are met – to file a complaint.
Subsequent exchange for another ski pass and extension or postponement of the period of validity is not possible.

Parking
Parking in all our car parks is free of charge!

Slope rescue
Slope rescue operations are charged for by us and must be paid for in cash.

Refund in case of skiing accidents
A refund is only possible in case of skiing accidents for ski passes with a validity period of 2 days or more and does not apply to accompanying persons. Unused days are calculated from the day the ski pass is deposited and not from the day of the accident. A medical certificate from a doctor resident in the region must be presented.

Ski pass associations
The individual services to which the card entitles the holder are provided by independent entrepreneurs. The entrepreneur who sells the card acts for the other entrepreneurs only as their representative. Therefore, only the respective entrepreneur is obliged to provide the individual services and to pay damages in the event of any incidents. In the case of annual and season tickets, personal data will be stored until revoked.

Loss
A lost lift pass will only be replaced on presentation of the blocking number voucher (ticket bill) and on payment of a handling fee.

Optional ski pass
e.g. 6in7 means that you can ski for 6 days within 7 days. The last day of validity is indicated on your ski pass.

Ski instructor
Ski instructors receive a 10% reduction on the normal fare for day and multi-day tickets (ID with valid international annual stamp – IVSI required) (not for season tickets or already reduced tickets).

Reduction for disabled
Children (standard fare) from a disability of 60%, ID required; does not apply to season tickets.

Advance ticket sales
From 03.00 pm the day before at all main ticket offices. Use of the card possible from 03.00 pm.

Pitztal plus With the purchase of multi-day lift tickets (valid from the 2-day lift ticket) you are entitled to use the lifts at Hochzeiger or Kaunertal Glacier or in the Fendels ski area on max. one day.
