The Wildspitzbahn and Café 3440 on the Pitztal Glacier are also open to pedestrians during ski operations:
- Café 3440 open daily until 3.30 p.m.
- Last descent on the Wildspitzbahn at 3.45 pm

SAT 03 OCT 2026 // SECTION DRILL
The fire department, Red Cross, mountain rescue, and mountain railway are conducting an emergency drill.
- Increased presence of emergency vehicles and rescue personnel
- Possible sirens and traffic disruptions in the drill area
- There is no danger—this is a planned drill
For this reason, the operating hours on Saturday, October 3, 2026, are as follows //
- Ski operations until 12.00 pm
- Last descent on the Wildspitzbahn at 12.00 pm
- Last descent on the Gletscherexpress at 1.00 pm
- Café 3440 and Restaurant Kristall will also be open only in the morning on this day.
- Advance ticket sales and season ticket purchases are available starting at 1.00 pm at the Rifflsee ticket office in Mandarfen
