Facts about the Rifflsee cable cars

Already in the early 70s a chairlift with one seat from Mandarfen to the Rifflsee and the first few ski lifts have been built. In 1994 the one chairlift has been replaced with the modern 6 seated gondola, which connects the valley with the mountain lake till today. The Sunna Alm at the upper station of the cable cars is the first restaurant built with a passive construction method in the alps – all in the spirit of nature-compatible, sustainable tourism.
