The Gletscherexpress
The Gletscherexpress is a modern funicular railway that takes our guests from the valley station at 1,740 metres to an altitude of 2,840 metres in comfort. As part of the Pitztaler Gletscherbahn team, you will help ensure the safety and well-being of our guests while providing excellent service in a unique alpine environment.
To strengthen our team, we are looking for a Funicular Attendant (m/f/d) for the Gletscherexpress.
Year-round position // Seasonal position // Full-time // Part-time
Your responsibilities
- Operating and supervising the carriages during journeys
- Ensuring that operations run smoothly
- Helping to ensure compliance with all safety regulations
- Assisting guests when boarding and alighting
- Supporting maintenance and inspection work
Your profile
- A friendly and service-oriented manner
- Good command of German; knowledge of other languages, particularly English, is an advantage
- Enjoyment of working in an alpine environment and interacting with international guests
- A strong sense of responsibility and a team-oriented approach
- Willingness to work at weekends and on public holidays
