Ski pass information from A-Z
- Terms of transportation: When the customer purchases a lift ticket, he or she accepts the terms of transportation of our cable cars, which are published in the lift stations in their entirety and are approved by the supervisory authority (Department of Transportation).
- Operation shutdown and malfunctions; reduced operation: The non-use of the ski pass due to poor weather conditions, danger of avalanche, systems failure, closed slopes, unexpected departures, etc, does not provide the basis for a claim for refunds or extensions. Use of the slopes is at one's own risk. We reserve the right to modify the operating hours due to snow conditions.
- Reduced tickets: A photo ID is necessary to purchase a reduced ticket (Bambini, children, seniors and disabled people). There are no further discounts for reduced tickets.
- Photo: A photo is necessary for one-year tickets. The photo is taken at our offices without charge.
- Key cards: Our card system is exclusively on contact-free data carriers (key card) with a € 5.00 deposit for the key card per ski pass. The deposit will be returned upon return of the undamaged key card. The key card may be returned at any office at the Pitztal Gletscherbahnen or the tourism office, sporting goods stores or hotel receptions. All lift ticket verification is done electronically at all gondolas and the lifts in the skiing area. Single trip tickets for non-skiers are issued as magnetic tickets and must be inserted into the appropriate scanning stations.
- Abuse, exchange and validity: Random inspections are constantly carried out in the skiing area. Ski passes must be presented to lift personnel upon request. The ski passes are individually issued and non-transferable. Any abuse will result in immediate confiscation as well as a fine equal to three times the price of the ski pass. We reserve the right to prosecute. It is not possible subsequently to exchange one ski pass for another or to extend its validity.
- Mixed price: A mixed price is calculated for ski passes overlapping seasons.
- Parking: Parking is free in all our parking areas!
- Ski patrol: If the ski patrol has to be called to undertake a rescue, there will be a charge, to be paid in cash.
- Refunds for skiing accidents: Refunds for skiing accidents are only possible with passes valid longer than two days, but they do not apply to any accompanying persons. The refund is calculated from the time the ski pass is handed in and not from the day of the accident. A local physician's certificate must be presented in order to qualify for refunds.
- Ski pass networks: Legally independent companies provide the individual services to which this card entitles the card holder. The business that sells the tickets only acts as a representative for the other company. Therefore the respective company is responsible for providing the individual services and compensation for damages for any possible incidents.
- Safety arrangements: The cable car and slope personnel's instructions must be followed for safety reasons. Any violation, or noisy and disorderly conduct, will cause the guest to be banned from using any further transport. The ski pass will be confiscated without compensation!
- Loss: Lost lift tickets may only be replaced upon presentation of the ski pass’s blocking number (on your receipt) and payment of a processing fee. The electronic data carrier (key card) must be paid for again in full.
