Tyrolean Ski Holidays for the Whole Family

A beautiful winter world with fantastic family offers (children up to 10 years of age are free when accompanied by an adult - Bambini free pass and very reasonable children’s rates) awaits you in the glacier ski region of Pitztal, with guaranteed snow and the child-friendly family ski resort of Rifflsee.  Families can enjoy carefree skiing, as the  first child-safe chairlift in the world - the Sunna Almbahn - has been constructed, to take children's needs into particular consideration:  the low-retracting chairs facilitate getting into the chairlift and the separate Pitzi seats ensure that children find their seats quickly.  The automatic locking bar and heated seats guarantee a safe and comfortable ski-lift ride.

If you require a little practice and help, the children's ski courses offered by the Club Alpin Ski School Pitztal will take good care of you: in the Bambini special ski course (from 3 years), with our mascot Pitzi and well-trained ski-instructors, or in the children’s & youth course (up to 14 years), children playfully learn how to ski or snowboard, while parents enjoy the vast glacier slopes or the various ski runs of the Rifflsee mountain resort.

The spacious sun deck of the Kristall glacier restaurant on the Pitztaler glacier offers pure relaxation. From the terrace you can conveniently watch your children tube, slide or play in the Kinderland. In bad weather, the children's play corner in the Wildspitze glacier restaurant on the Pitztal Glacier provides entertainment.  Our restaurants not only offer lots of fun and games, but also good value-for-money children's menus.
